And why you are interested in transit, I think.

You were busy lady and talking about those population numbers, it makes my eyes just a little bit larger than Albemarle, but you know,

I'm also passionate about transit's role in reducing congestion and carbon emissions, and I'm eager to move forward this next year with developing a plan to integrate electric vehicles into our fleet.

That was great and I never really know with this spotlight if I'm supposed to ask if you all have any questions because I always listen to these spotlights and I didn't have questions but it could be.

So how you, that's why I think I'm really pro-electric in not having any kind of internal combustion engine, so.

I don't know either.

There's it's in the packet about a vaccine or

So that's our updates.

Alright, so we'll move on down to Becca with UTS.

3,000 of those are employees and the rest are students.

And we've got a long way to go to be able to do that.

The key components that are already being looked at as a part of that larger study.

That's great.

And I think, you know, hopefully if I don't, maybe in the next few months with somebody on our staff can do a presentation as we move a little bit farther down the line.

preventing us from reaching our sustainability goals.

It's an obvious, it's a very good point.

but that's a larger discussion later.

I'm an optimist if you couldn't tell.

If we can just kind of make a note about that, Christine, and we'll think about it.

To that point, Diane, I think it will be a part of the regional transit visioning workshop that it will include the full RTP and other stakeholders and they'll be doing interactive activities like that that make people look at those trade-offs and where the priorities are.

Benches and lit shelters, perhaps concrete pads, because I know you're really working on that with VDOT.

But the VDOT has to allow us to do that, so I'm hopeful that we'll be able to get something nailed down fairly quickly by larger organizational standards and be able to move forward in the next month or so.

So we're trying to be as proactive as we can to assist with this process moving forward.

And we're hoping that the board will pick their, will go through and get the board to sort of choose their different criteria.

Because if so, I'm choosing Santa Barbara, California.

So what does that mean?

That means that we'll have to send you all back to attendees, which we can do.

So we'll look at them, evaluate it and come up with a recommendation that we can present later in the study when we get to that part of the public input process.

and I never have an appointment to make so.

So that's what we're asking for tonight is for somebody who would like to serve in that role to represent the RTP on that stakeholder committee.

Just to clarify, Sandy, just to make sure, are they seeking a representative from a transit provider or from someone from our committee?

You know, conduit to this committee to represent those interests.

Karen mentioned at the last meeting that John was having some trouble getting access parking goods parking space at the University at the Medical Center and know that Becca indicated that there had been a meeting that went on and I just wanted to if you all want to just give us a really quick brief update and on the how that went and what you're working on and that would be great.
