There will be a closed-door meeting of the City Council pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 13D.05, subd. 3(d), to receive a security briefing related to elected official safety and data privacy. The briefing will cover the following topics:
· An overview of the City’s response to concerns regarding the safety and privacy of elected officials
· A review of current strategies and protocols in place to protect elected officials’ physical safety and personal data privacy
· A discussion of future plans to strengthen protections and proactively address emerging threats to elected officials
