Typically, I'll see those reports that list 25 or 30 or more potential businesses that are interested in looking in our region or locating in our region, and they'll list the localities that they're gonna visit.

You know, part of the workforce question, though, is some industries train their own workers.

The high school is teaching solar and whatnot, and we have the ability to open up a facility tomorrow, you know, and that's a very- But even when you do something, you take a risk, you know, you invest in something.

And I would propose, I think you have a much better chance of attracting the kind of industry that you're talking about.

And how we can attract them to that spot?

You say you want to think outside the box.

But that doesn't get them to 29.

We still have, the people of Nelson County will still enjoy a superior school system, will still enjoy, you know, it's like, yeah, yeah, you're making a bet, but it's a bet that has a couple of different payoffs.

And this is a cheap bet too, 50 grand.

That's a cheap bet.

It's a different conception of what a business partner

It's worthy of consideration to be acquired and then how do you want to develop it?

I mean, we hung around this.

The projections are the county is going to stay about the same for the next, I think, 20 or more years.

We do know this

And two, you know, what are the businesses that complement that?

Or you want to give them an opportunity to be able to do good work that's satisfying, feels good, and supports their ability to do that.

We want to be able to, and quality of life, you know, that is jobs.

One thing I did mention, ever since I've worked for the county, the demographic on people working in and outside of the county, 50% or more of the county's working population commute out of the county.

I mean, you know, we talk about that at the Regional Housing Partnership.

I mean, the traffic

There is between Lovingston and Charlottesville.

Well, Wintergreen would never happen ever again.
