Mayor Reed, City Manager Banks, City Attorney Brown, Vice Mayor Fleming, Council Member Alsadun, Council Member Dent, Council Member Robinson,

I will now pass it over to Attorney.

Moved that the Harrisonburg City Council go into closed session as authorized by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711A under subsection 7 for consultation with legal counsel and staff regarding actual litigation, where such consultation and open session would adversely affect the negotiating or litigating posture of city council.
