I always start this presentation by telling you how long I've worked on this project.

It's been 21 years to date.

So it's been a long haul.

And with that, I'll leave it to questions.

You only give the bonuses that the state is funding and the amount that the state is funding, which we did get 20 pages or so of instructions.

So they're only funding the bonus on the comp board funded part of the salaries, not what the county locality subsidizes it with, which is a small portion of it.

What do y'all think?

Option one, that's what I was looking at, option one.

So in option one, there is no impact to carryover, no impact to the general fund, it's coming out of approved budgets, am I correct?

Right, the impact would be that those agencies would absorb the cost of the bonuses.

Individually as what it is.

Is that still anticipated on that option one, that amount?

They said the Blackberry Festival again this year was great turnout, you know, higher numbers than last year, which even though the rain was a little bit that morning, they said after it quit, it was still pretty good turnout for the community on that.

Shafferty, County Administrator update.

I just want to thank everybody who came out to the successful fundraiser we had for the animal shelter that had a band and there was some artwork for sale and I thought it was a good turnout for the size of it's a small area there so maybe it just felt cozier because how small it is but it was nice with people donated food hot dogs and all of that.

June 26th this Thursday is an EMS fundraiser

That's it.

We need to have a couple additional agenda items that I would like to have and just want to make sure the board was on board with it.

First will be on Wells.

I think we need to continue moving forward on all aspects of it so if y'all are good with that I will do it in our agenda construction meeting but we'll plan it out over the next couple months.
