Okay, next up, revised pet policy.

Right now, there's a lot of individuals that are not in compliance because they have not signed a pet policy because they have pets that we don't know about.

A lot can happen in three months with a dog.

So let's just say we find a bunch of 50 pound dogs.

That's why I had a question about that.

We're going to call the SPCA to come pick up all the big giant dogs.

It should be relatively obvious, but I'm just saying if you find a bunch of big dogs out there, like what, I guess, now that we're enforcing this, what happens?

And so, but the weight classes is how everyone gets around that.

It makes me just think out of curiosity, does CRHA have any existing formal or informal relationship with PVCC or particularly for, I imagine, maintenance staff, CATEC?

But if families go from having income to not having income, then they can apply for the hardship or they'll just be moved down to zero rent?

And again, as with the last meeting we discussed this, I know one of the justifications was also just that this will save CRHA money.

If families can't afford to pay it all together it's just beneficial.

What additional investments does the city need to make in terms of CRHA's operational needs to have CRHA again be as effective and successful as possible?

need to make sure that they understand we prioritize as they are making the assessment about the structure of the organization.

And we do things a lot different.

I think that's important to understand also.

They are just as old or older than our public housing units.

to maybe have like start compiling a kind of document about what we would want to share with the firm about like our specific priorities and just flagging that so that they don't hit the ground running thinking that they know what they're doing when actually what we do is fairly different.

I think that would be, that'll be helpful for us to understand.

So we'll make sure that is spelled out.

what has it been in your strategic plan for your goals to accomplish you need five more staff positions to realistically do that and they kind of outlined what some of those specific job descriptions would be for those positions so again a much smaller scale but that's kind of I think one of the deliverables that might be helpful as well as just that process of being able to interview a wide breadth of stakeholders

It's like, we kind of have to hold that it's a business, but the goal of the business is not to make, you know, millions of dollars.

It's a mission driven business.

And so I think just holding both of those is going to be really important.

And I think one of the questions as well for both the board as well as CRHA staff is, does the CRHA staffing capacity or preference prefer that this is like an RFP that's put out just by CRHA or do we want to partner with the city in terms of either funding or helping with how procurement for putting out the RFP is done?

I don't know.

We have a contracting officer, but that's 100% up to you guys.

I guess my question would be like, if we include the city in this process, will the city be more likely to fund the positions that they recommend we create?

if it makes it more likely that we get what we need, sure.

I mean, I definitely couldn't answer that with 100% confidence.

That's a trick question.

The city is able to help with that portion of it.

So then would that necessitate like you talking to Sam or?

What would that, would that necessitate versus they're gathering it and can start writing the document, the scope for the RFP now?
