Okay, so we're all assembled.

Do we have to do anything to officially get started?

Are we broadcasting to the world?

Okay.

So we can call ourselves to order and we'll call the June 21, 2022 Charlottesville City Council hybrid meeting will please come to order.

Okay, just to explain, if anybody is watching, we have a rather long set of things going on today.

We are starting off in closed session, which we will go into in just a moment, and we'll be in closed session until 4 o'clock.

At 4 o'clock, we will come into the work session where we hear and discuss presentations that do not require a council vote.

then we'll go back into closed session again between 530 and 630 and then we'll have the regular City Council business meeting starting around 630.

So that's the overall scheme for the day.

Pursuing to section 2.2-3712 of Virginia Code, I hereby move that the City Council close this meeting, this open meeting and convene within a closed meeting as authorized by Virginia Code section 2.2-3711 subsection A subsection 1

Subsection A, Subsection 7 and Subsection A, Subsection 8 for consideration of appointment by council to the City Planning Commission and other boards and commissions.
