Pursuing to section 2.23712 of the Virginia code, I hereby move that the city council closes open meeting and convene within the closed meeting as authorized by Virginia code section 2.23711A1 for the purpose of discussion of the withdrawal of the appointed interim city manager and discussion consideration or interviews of prospective candidates for appointment or employment by city council.

All right, I move the council members certified by recorded vote that to the best of each council members knowledge only public business matters lawfully exempted from the open meeting requirements of the Virginia Freedom of Evibration Act identified the motion convening the closed meeting were heard discussed are considered in the closed meeting.
