Yes, pursuant to section 2.237-12 of the Virginia Code, I hereby move City Council close this open meeting and convene within a closed meeting as authorized Virginia Code section 2.237-11-A1 for the purpose of discussion, consideration, and interviews of individuals being considered for deputy city manager or for appointment by city council to serve as city manager.
