I call to order the special meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors January 21, 2022 meeting.

This meeting is being held pursuant to and in compliance with ordinance number 20-A16, an ordinance to ensure the continuity of government during the COVID-19 disaster.

The supervisors who are electronically present at this meeting are Supervisor Jim Andrews of the Samuel Miller District,

Supervisor Ned Galloway of the Rio District, Supervisor Ann Mallek of the White Hall District, Supervisor Diantha McKeel of the Jack Jouett District, Supervisor Bea LaPisto-Kirtley of the Rivanna District, and myself, Supervisor Donna Price of the Scottsville Magisterial District.

I would also like to mention that our Clerk, Claudette Warderson, and our Deputy Senior Clerk, Travis Morris, are also present, as well as our County Attorney, Mr. Greg Campner,

Yes, I move that the board go into a closed meeting pursuant to section 2.2-3711A of the Code of Virginia under subsection 1 to discuss and consider the appointment and performance and discipline of members of several public bodies appointed by the Board of Supervisors and under subsection 8 to consult with legal counsel regarding the board's options to address the performance and discipline of members of several public bodies appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
