  • 21. Virginia Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). To review the County’s intention to apply for Federal funds from the Virginia Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Albemarle County proposes to utilize the requested funds to carry out the following activities for the CDBG program: Approximately $1.3 million dollars to support the construction of 25 affordable single-family attached and/or detached residential housing units, and the installation of sidewalks and paved walkways in Village 2 of the Southwood Redevelopment Project.
