  • 13. CPA2020-00001 Housing Albemarle. To receive comments on proposed amendments to the Housing Chapter and Appendix 9 of the Albemarle County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendments would revise recommendations and strategies related to housing programs in the county. The Policy would revise information related to housing programs by: introducing new housing policy objectives and strategies; identifying a set of priority actions; and establishing a policy implementation timeline.

  • 14. SP 202100001 - Midway Solar. PROJECT: SP202100001 Midway Solar Project MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Samuel Miller TAX MAP/PARCEL(S): 08500-00-00-017B0 LOCATION: The proposed project is located on the west side of Craigs Store Road (Route 635) approximately 1 1/2 miles south of Batesville. PROPOSAL: Solar-energy electrical generation facility including an approximately 8 megawatt photovoltaic system and 4 megawatt battery energy storage system occupying approximately 80 acres. PETITION: Solar energy system allowed by special use permit under section 10.2.2.58 of the Zoning Ordinance on a 136-acre parcel. No new dwelling units proposed. ZONING: RA, Rural Areas - agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5 unit/acre in development lots) OVERLAY DISTRICT(S): Flood Hazard Overlay District COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Rural Area – preserve and protect agricultural, forestal, open space, and natural, historic and scenic resources; residential (0.5 unit/ acre in development lots).

Ordinance to Amend Chapter 2, Administration, of the Albemarle County Code, to Amend Section 2-202, Compensation of Board of Supervisors, to Increase the Compensation of the Members of the Board of Supervisors by 2% Effective July 1, 2021. To receive comments on its intent to adopt an ordinance to amend Albemarle County Code Chapter 2, Administration, by amending Section 2-202, Compensation of Board of Supervisors, to increase the compensation of the members of the Board of Supervisors by an inflation factor of 2.0% effective July 1, 20121 from $16,972.00 per annum to $17,311.00 per annum.
