To receive comments on its intent to adopt an ordinance to amend County Code Chapter 2, Administration, Article I, Elections, by amending § 2-102, Rio Magisterial District, to change the polling place in the Branchlands Precinct from the Church of the Incarnation Activity Center to the Hillsdale Conference Center at 550 Hillsdale Drive, and to change the polling place in the Northside Precinct from the Earlysville Volunteer Fire Station to the Laurel Hill Baptist Church at 3595 Grand Forks Boulevard.

  • 17. SP202000004 Wild Turkey (Cross Property) - Tier III Personal Wireless Service Facility. PROJECT: SP202000004 – Wild Turkey (Cross Property) - Tier III Personal Wireless Service Facility MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: White Hall TAX MAP/PARCEL: 05700-00-00-041L0 LOCATION: Near southeast corner of intersection of Rockfish Gap Turnpike (Route 250) and Wild Turkey Lane, immediately west of existing personal wireless service facilities on property. PROPOSAL: Request for approval of a Tier III personal wireless service facility located within an avoidance area with a steel monopole that would be approximately 116.7 feet tall. The facility would be located within a 30’ x 30’ lease area and accessed via a 20' access & utility right-of-way with 12’ access road. PETITION: Tier III personal wireless facility under Section 10.2.2 (48) of the zoning ordinance on a 6 acre parcel. Request for a Special Exception to modify Section 5.1.40 (b)(2)(c) of the zoning ordinance to allow the closest point of the back of antenna to be more than 12 inches from the monopole. No dwelling units proposed. ZONING:

Route 29 North, approximately 0.20 miles north from the intersection of Lewis and Clark Drive and Route 29. PROPOSAL: Rezone two properties from Rural Areas (RA) to Planned Residential Development (PRD). Request for a special use permit for the disturbance of preserved steep slopes to accommodate the development of private facilities (entrance and accessway and stormwater management) for the proposed rezoning development. PETITION: Rezone 32.52 acres from Rural Areas (RA), which allows agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5 unit/acre in development lots) to Planned Residential Development (PRD) that allows residential (3 – 34 units/acre) with limited commercial uses. Individuals are allowed three minutes to speak, unless otherwise decided. A sign-up sheet is provided at the meeting. During Public Hearings, the Board will only acknowledge speakers addressing the item listed for Public Hearing. Speakers are limited to one appearance of three minutes per public hearing item.
