My understanding is that there's not going to be any grading necessary for this.

Guidelines to Entrance Corridor things and what we can do now that it's a new application was the same set or the same true for looking at how water runoff happens on the site.

It would be kind of limited to what's already in place on the site.

When it was originally put in, we don't do the stormwater scrutiny as well.

There would need to be disturbance to the site.

That's all right.

but nothing on the northern half so it looks like it's paid right up to the property line on the northern half of the eastern border here so talk to me about that please I mean normally applicants aren't allowed to take credit for something on somebody else's property as far as screening is concerned so I'm just interested in what's happening over there

That's the northern boundary.

The northern half of the eastern line has nothing but pavement right up to the property line.

So they're to satisfy the screening of the outdoor storage equipment within the site.

They did a great job on the left-hand half, the southern half of this line.

So that's why you see more landscaping along the Rio Road entrance corridor.

as it did up at Halloween Town Center where there were lots of other buildings in between, but because they were within the 500 feet of the roadway, then they had to each provide their own screening elements.

And buildings and things up there.

I mean, it's a different circumstance.

So with buildings and such, they would be more visible.

County.

It's likely more visible, but it's a height, the height associated with a building from any particular entrance corridor that you're viewing it from.

I thought you said that the library was being impacted by the storm water coming off of this problem.

No, the downstream neighborhood was what was impacted and there were preventative measures for the library side to try to control that.

And in front of the fence, there will also be a double staggered row of evergreens as well.

is placed properly, but there's not a lot of litter and I mean somebody's going to be on the site taking care of this and watching this facility and the grounds.

Yeah, Mr. Berkey can walk you through maybe their normal rental process if a customer comes in and what that looks like, just to give you an example.

Yeah, just want to make sure because of the location that it's properly maintained and monitored.

Our staff goes through checks multiple times a day to make sure that the facility is clean and then we'll also have outside cleaners and probably hire janitorial staff for the inside to again make sure we keep it up to match the you know, I guess the cleanliness of the library, so Great.

Absolutely Supervisor Callaway

So the west side there, that's like a shared, that access there is shared with the library.

There's about a residential road with and then in addition to the library.

It's all open, but it'll be lined and painted so people aren't getting

in the major site plan approval process the the county's brought up possibly occur some type of curb separation or painting not sure what that will end up being like but yeah some future addressing of that large that large span there thank you thank you Supervisor Melick thank you

was a little, my address went up when you mentioned about curb, that's not within the 30 foot road though, that's only to keep wheels off the gardens basically.

like I said, it's a pretty, it's significantly large between the two properties currently.

Is it the standard automotive type or is it special?

but everything that is washed in this facility will be washed and controlled and separated through an oil water separator before going to the sanitary system and it will be inside the building so we won't have any storm water that comes in through that system as well.

So I appreciate the design and the fact that it'll be good activity going on there and just is going to look much better than what is currently present.

Just repeat the history again of the building like what's the difference between this and the last one again?

So with the expansion of the asphalt in the parking lot and the increase in the building, there's already planned to have stormwater collection and detention and slow down the velocity, et cetera, as everything drains down toward the railroad track.

Yeah, the applicant, the engineer can speak more to that, but from our understanding that is correct.

And I'm correct that the railroad's the very next thing to its west and then the city is beyond.

Yes.

So that will have to be very carefully done.

That's correct.

I share some of my peers' concerns about the parking, but I don't think I have any technical questions about the application.

So we have that good relationship, but on the same side we want to make sure that definitely in our future that it makes sense that we can fit everything that we need to do on our site.

Okay, and you will have screening, you know, trees and such, correct?

So that'll be scrutinized and buffering will be provided.

It would be going to the side.

So we feel like this is the best approach to be able to provide the additional parking.

And last question, have you spoken with KTEC to enter into an agreement for joint use?

So we haven't spoken to them recently, but it's more of just a ongoing just friendship relationship, knowing that we use theirs, they use ours, but on the same side we knew that they would not give an indefinite.

So they would be against anything long term, you say?

They will not sign anything long term.

What's the maximum amount they'll give you?

I have not asked that.

Have you all considered putting solar over your parking area?

We talked about solar on the actual building, the current facility, and then just kind of cost prohibited for right now, so we're kind of focused on this project to start.

a rough connection back there.

But my still concern is the long term.

And will those be one flat or will there be a tiered level?

is usable for pedestrians, right, ADA friendly, so 5% are left, slopes pretty much across the parking lot to allow for vehicular and pedestrian access.

And then one, well I guess there were some on the drawing, some partitions with some, perhaps places where the water could drop down into the tree section as opposed to having a berm around that keeps all the water from going into the tree section.

Certainly, we would anticipate proposing stormwater infrastructure, probably stormwater inlets like you used to see in parking lots that would capture the water, direct it ultimately to our stormwater management facility before it leaves the site.

Is that correct?

That is correct, yes.

Is your 1030, is that the largest?

That is the largest right now, yes.

What's your average Sunday attendance at the 10th area?

So about 540?

In the kid's space, that's a separate amount.

That's about another 80.

So is that number of seats that are in the sanctuary specifically?

Yes.

but you have 500 something people in there.

So with three services you can have 220 in the front.

Do you have a sense of what the 1030s specific Sunday attendance looks like?

Yes, 300.

Because that's your largest kids space.

And so we keep working on the service times to just really try to make sure that the parking will spread out across.

That is about right.

Fourth one, or look at parking off site and shuttle people in, look at Harvest Church, look at the center, so those would be other catastrophic opportunities for us to look at.

Sorry, with KTEC.

Sure, sure.

That's all I got.

What's the largest use during the rest of the week?

and those are I mean compared to what you're using it for now those are likely to grow or they're they will grow because with the new facility we'll have like six more meeting spaces on our site that we can house people throughout the week whereas we only have two right now so we'll be able to utilize more groups on our site but it will never meet the maximum on Sunday morning either okay

And as far as trying to do more environmentally friendly parking than just pavement, have you looked into any options there?

But we can't commit to specific measures at this time.

and we don't have a review process that would enable trying to facilitate anything different in the future, do we, or as part of this site review?

As far as going beyond the ordinance, we're not required to make any improvements.

And the other is water quality, making sure that water is treated as well.

Because I think you can understand that we're all concerned about the amount of asphalt.

Sure.

But we do anticipate trees in those islands.

Okay, because I can see in the center section like, I think that's three trees, but I don't know what the three things are in the center.

I think these are anticipated right now and the smaller planting areas is kind of medium size shade or ornamental trees and these being kind of larger shade trees flanked on the side.
