you know I have some employees that I watch sometimes navigate their veteran services and some of the complexities that go and I echo Supervisor Mallek that if you are denied or encounter obstacles you've got to keep pressing forward and any resources that can be done to help with that and be fully in support of so thank you.

So I'm not familiar with private police.

And so, for example, you know, the jurisdiction of the private force at Wintergreen extends to the limits of the Wintergreen Resort.

If I didn't get it right, we can make changes to it now before you adopt it so that that sort of ordering does not appear in the final document.

I concur with Supervisor McKeel's comments that we can support all three, but I also agree in terms of if there was to be a prioritization, I believe this is the appropriate prioritization.

This is very well done, so thank you.

Supervisor Andrews?

Just to pile on that, when I was talking about nimbleness, this is precisely what I was getting at, is that we recognize that there's more than just the acquisition, but we have to keep our eye on opportunities that are appropriate for that development.

Supervisor Galloway?

If we want to do something as a board to support the VAPDC and the TJPDC, then I want to get that on the radar, but if it's already been done, I don't need to.

And I think I asked that any such action request letter be sent within the next month, I think around the 17th of November.

It's not, you know, in the big budget picture, but for each PDC, it's not like we're asking.

Feeling that the need for expanded capacity for PDCs to assist localities, we have a lot of working relationships and partners with the state, different state agencies, and certainly in this time where there is a largest of federal money to be able to have capacity to help localities to be able to tap into that resource, we believe is very critical.

So it was my hope that I would imagine just with board consensus between Mr. Richardson and the chair that we could do something to write something in support of that and obviously it sounds like we already have the materials or they're there if they've been viewed yet or not I don't know.

you know, need for assistance in crafting something but would certainly appreciate any support you all could provide and then we'll certainly have something before the TJP Commission at its November meeting as well.

So is that something that we should do Mr. Rosenberg as a motion or can we just get a board consensus?

this letter that is being requested by Mr. Blunt since they're similar requests.

So those conditions would be codified and they would be applied to everything that would follow to that.

When you mentioned landscaping, quick question, when you mentioned landscaping that would include also the use of our updated native plant list?

but it is referenced in our ordinance and so that's one of the sections that I don't think would change too much as far as the native plant list but it would be continued to be referenced saying your landscaping requirements must meet a tree coverage percentage using plants from the approved native plant list and that's the same kind of language we have now.

Do we have an approved updated plant list?

I think it might have been last year or the year before.

So I was wondering how the rural area uses ties into that if it does.

And it would really be working with AC44 to make sure that we're reflecting the goals of the comp plan in the ordinance itself.

Is the form part of the ordinance then?

Whereas right now we have it duplicated in multiple places.

I want to make sure I understand, though, whether this constitutes a change in the level of board review and action on the ordinance and what is in the form as opposed to what's in the ordinance.

We don't need to change it in the ordinance.

Are these physical, like is everything still just going to be a physical application or can it all be done electronically?

And it's a form where if you do not fill out the first section, you cannot proceed to the second section.

I'm thinking of the issues where we've heard sometimes from staff where you put an application in but it's not fully complete and then we get remarks but then there's we get complaint that we're doing too many rounds of remarks but it's because we didn't have all the information so now so that that process should be very clear so applications moving forward won't even be considered unless the application is full is complete and accurate for what the requirements are

Just overall as a department we're really looking forward to it.

So it's just you kind of you go from one topic to the next and it's it's all extremely rich and you're hearing you're hearing from from folks who are you know working in the field across the country so it's interesting to hear how similar we are and also some of the different challenges that we face
